Ingredients
- Dehulled beans 2 cupsÂ
- Crayfish ½ cupÂ
- Iru 1 small wrapÂ
- Onion 1 small bulbÂ
- Fresh pepper 4 medium size Â
- Maggi crayfish cubes 2Â
- Water 1½ litresÂ
- Salt to taste.Â
- Potash   pinchÂ
- Palm oil    4 cooking spoonsÂ
Procedure
- Boil the beans with potash and shredded onion in 3 litres of water till very soft.Â
- Â Add the ground pepper, the iru, palm oil and the crayfish.Â
- Cook for about ten minutes.Â
- Add the remaining water and the maggi cube and simmer for about 10 minutes, stir at intervals.Â
- Using an immersion blender, puree till it is very smooth Â
- Remove from heat and serve with Ewedu and ata din din accompanied with hot Amala.Â
