Ingredients

  • 3 boiled potatoes
  • corn starch 4-5 tbsp
  • cheese slice 1
  • black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
  • chilli flakes 1/2 tsp
  • oregano 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • coriander 1 tbsp
  • all-purpose flour 2-3 tbsp
  • breadcrumbs 1/2 cup
  • chaat masala for garnish
  • oil for frying

Procedure

To make this incredibly easy to make and enjoyable crunchy potato sticks snack that will surely be snatched up quick, follow this simple steps .

  1. Boil 3 potatoes, allow to cool and add them into a ziplock bag.
  2. Add corn starch, black pepper, chili flakes, oregano, cheese powder, salt, cheese slice, and chopped coriander.
  3. Mash everything well from outside the bag until smooth.
  4. Flatten the mixture evenly in the bag using a rolling pin.
  5. keep in the freezer for 2-3 hours until firm and easy to cut (not fully frozen).
  6. Cut into shapes.
  7. Make a thin batter using all-purpose flour, a little salt, and water.
  8. Dip each potato stick into the batter, coat with breadcrumbs, and keep aside.
  9. Fry until golden brown and super crispy.
  10. Sprinkle some chaat masala and chopped coriander leaves on top and serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dip.
