Ingredients
- 3 boiled potatoes
- corn starch 4-5 tbsp
- cheese slice 1
- black pepper powder 1/2 tsp
- chilli flakes 1/2 tsp
- oregano 1/2 tsp
- salt to taste
- coriander 1 tbsp
- all-purpose flour 2-3 tbsp
- breadcrumbs 1/2 cup
- chaat masala for garnish
- oil for frying
Procedure
To make this incredibly easy to make and enjoyable crunchy potato sticks snack that will surely be snatched up quick, follow this simple steps .
- Boil 3 potatoes, allow to cool and add them into a ziplock bag.
- Add corn starch, black pepper, chili flakes, oregano, cheese powder, salt, cheese slice, and chopped coriander.
- Mash everything well from outside the bag until smooth.
- Flatten the mixture evenly in the bag using a rolling pin.
- keep in the freezer for 2-3 hours until firm and easy to cut (not fully frozen).
- Cut into shapes.
- Make a thin batter using all-purpose flour, a little salt, and water.
- Dip each potato stick into the batter, coat with breadcrumbs, and keep aside.
- Fry until golden brown and super crispy.
- Sprinkle some chaat masala and chopped coriander leaves on top and serve hot with ketchup or your favorite dip.
