This crispy potato balls and creamy salad is a forever go to when you’re lazying around or hard a long and exhausting day. Its pretty easy and could be made in a blink of an eye. Crispy on the outside, soft, fluffy and mushy on the inside. Crispy potato balls and a creamy salad bowl are the ultimate golden brown snack.

Ingredients

For potato balls:

  • grated potato (6 medium sized)
  • eggs 1
  • bread crumb
  • cajun or cayenne powder
  • cumin
  • paprika
  • salt

For chicken marinade:

  • yoghurt
  • cajun or cayenne powder
  • sage
  • chili pepper
  • salt
  • oil for searing

For salad dressing

  • mayonnaise
  • pickle brine
  • chili pepper
  • salt
  • honey
  • parsley leaves

For mixed veggies:

  • cabbage
  • carrot
  • cucumber
  • pickled onions

Procedure

To make this quick, easy crispy potato balls and creamy salad, follow the steps below:

Boil peeled potatoes for some minutes, half way done and grate them into a mixing bowl. Brake one egg into it, add saffron, cajun or cayenne powder, cumin, paprika, salt and mix together until properly incorporated.

Mold them into balls and set aside.

In a bowl, mix eggs, seasoning of choice and set aside. Deep the potato balls into the egg mixture and coat.

Next, coat the balls with bread crumbs. Allow to rest for some minutes (or not) and fry.

In a bowl, mix mayonnaise, chili pepper, salt, honey, onion pickle brine, and finely chopped parsley(optional).

Add the salad dressing to the veggies (cabbage, cucumber, carrots and pickled onions) and then add the seared chicken and combine properly.
