The origin of this amazing yet simple dish remains obscure as their are a host of other dishes or recipes ranging from raclette, funeral potatoes, tartiflette, aligot, cultural spread and the rest. However, just be sure to have a delightful, tasty and memorable meal from whichever version you choose to have.

Ingredients

  • 600g peeled potato
  • 2 tbsp melted butter
  • 5 tbsp flour
  • 60g mozarella
  • 30g chorizo
  • 5ml olive oil

Procedure

To assemble this cozy, crispy and comforting cheesy potato recipe, follow the steps below;

  • Peel and boil potatoes until soft, then drain and mash.
  • Add the butter and flour and mix with a fork, then use your hands to mix as well until smooth and then form a large ball with your hands.
  • Lay out a sheet of cling film, then drizzle the olive oil over it.
  • Add the potato ball to the cling film and press to make a large circle.
  • Use the cling film to roll up the potato on all four sides, pressing down and sealing any gaps.
  • Air fry at 240 degrees for 7-8 minutes each side, using a spatula to turn halfway.
