How to make carrot juice

Carrot juice is one of the most versatile root vegetables and is used in so many ways ranging from soups, curries and also eaten as salad. Carrots can be simply eaten raw or even grilled, but if you are trying to increase your consumption of carrots, especially in the raw form, this carrot juice loaded with the goodness of vitamins and minerals made with fresh carrots, oranges and ginger is the best. This carrot juice will most definitely boost your immune system with natures best foods in its simplest form.

Ingredients

  • 10 carrots 
  • 5 small gingers 
  • 3 oranges
  • juice of 2 and 1/2 lemons
  • ½ cup of sugar or honey 
  • ½ tsp of salt 
  • Water 

Procedure

  1. Chop the carrots after cleaning them and the ginger as well. 
  2. Peel the oranges as well.
  3. Grind them in the juicer jar with enough water.

    4. Strain it using a double strainer or a tea strainer(cloth).Squeeze the lemon, add sugar or honey to taste and mix or stir well. 

      5. Enjoy as such or chilled.
